Located in the restored Burlington Mills textile plant this 125-seat classroom style auditorium offers state-of-the-art facilities for educational meetings, lectures and presentations. The near-by breakout rooms allow groups to have meals and/or split for smaller meetings of 20-50 people.

Q: Who can rent space in the Medical Mall?
A: Johnston County businesses and non-profit organizations may rent space for monthly or medical education meetings that are not open to the public. The facility is not available for events that are celebratory in nature (birthday, anniversary, wedding receptions, baby or bridal showers, etc.).
Q: What space is available?
A: The First Citizens Medical Conference Center auditorium (capacity 120) and Johnston Medical Mall conference rooms 1404A (capacity 40) and 1404B (capacity 60) may each be rented separately or combined for a seating capacity of 90. (No, it doesn't add up mathmatically, however, only 90 people may be seated comfortably with our available layouts).
Q: Are discounts available?
A: Yes, a 10% discount is available for Johnston County and/or non-profit organizations.
Q: Is catering available?
A: Yes. And If you cater with us, your rental fee will be waived. Contact Amanda at 919-938-7741.
Q: Is alcohol allowed in the Medical Mall?
Q: Is there a curfew?
A: Yes. Events must end at 9:00 p.m. so that the Medical Mall is vacated on time at 10:00 p.m..
Q: May space be rented after normal business hours or on weekends?
A: Yes. A mandatory security personnel fee will be assessed automatically for these events to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
The Paul A. Johnston Auditorium boasts an intimate 1,000-seat facility with state-of-the-art sound and lighting. Conveniently located just off Interstate 95 in Smithfield, the Paul A. Johnston Auditorium is just minutes away from Selma and a short drive on Highway 70 from Raleigh or Goldsboro. There is ample, free on-site parking.

The Paul A. The Auditorium Lobby: Capacity from 300-600 depending upon event design. Availability dependent upon student/school activity schedule. Size 40' x 120'. Concession services may be available. Can be used for receptions, banquets, meetings, performance events, displays and exhibits. It is understood that students may walk through the lobby during rental times.
The Green Room: Capacity 25-40 depending upon event design. Available weekdays from 8am-5pm only.

An appointment will be made at your convenience so that you may fully tour the available facilities and discuss services desired. A sample rental agreement will be made available for your inspection.
